Tools I use — and why.
Not affiliate slop. The handful of supplements, devices, and books I actually use in clinic. If a product isn't here, I'm not recommending it. Period.
Curated list · third-party-tested brands · arm's-length affiliate links
iHerb
The cleanest big marketplace for MENA. I use them for sourcing third-party-tested brands at sane prices.
Vitamin D3 + K2
5,000 IU D3 with 100 mcg K2-MK7. The pairing matters. Most MENA adults are deficient.
Magnesium glycinate
For sleep, cramps, and insulin sensitivity. Glycinate is the form I tolerate; citrate causes loose stool for many.
Omega-3 (TG-form)
Triglyceride form, IFOS-tested. Look for ≥2g combined EPA+DHA per dose.
Berberine HCl
Insulin-sensitizer. Strong evidence in metabolic syndrome. Not for pregnancy.
InBody scale
For body composition, not weight. The DEXA is better but home InBody is the realistic compromise.
Withings ScanWatch
I track sleep, HRV, and SpO2 with this. The medical-grade ECG is bonus.
The Salt Fix
Dr. James DiNicolantonio. Reframes how I talk about sodium with patients.
